The 4.6" stainless steel barrel and stainless slide wear a durable black Armornite finish, and the slide is cut for S&W's C.O.R.E. optics system so most popular red dots mount without a gunsmith. Flat-face trigger, manual thumb safety and an accessory rail make it a capable choice for the range, hunting backup or the trail.
The polymer frame features an 18-degree grip angle, aggressive M2.0 texture and interchangeable palmswell inserts, helping control the 10mm's recoil. California Purchase Information
- CA Handgun Roster: Listed on the California DOJ Roster of Certified Handguns (roster entry: M&P 10MM M2.0 4.6IN OR 10 RD - 14505).
- Who can buy: Purchasers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid California Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC), provide proof of California residency and complete a safe-handling demonstration at pickup.
- Background check & waiting period: All sales are processed through DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) with a California DOJ background check and a mandatory 10-day waiting period. Pickup must be completed within 30 days of the DROS.
- Pickup / transfer only: Firearms are delivered in person at our Thousand Oaks store, or transferred through a licensed California firearms dealer. We do not ship firearms directly to individuals.
- Magazines: Ships with California-legal magazines limited to 10 rounds. Large-capacity magazines (over 10 rounds) cannot be sold or delivered in California.
- Taxes & fees: California’s 11% firearm and ammunition excise tax, sales tax and state DROS fees apply and are collected at the time of transfer.
- Safety device: A California DOJ-approved firearm safety device (lock) or proof of an approved gun safe is required with every firearm purchase.
