The Smith & Wesson M&P FPC is a 9mm folding pistol caliber carbine that runs on the same M&P magazines as your M&P pistol. A latch lets the receiver and 16.25" barrel fold sideways along the stock, shrinking the rifle from about 30.4" to roughly 16.4" for transport in the included bag, and the fold path clears top-mounted optics. The blowback action, flat-face trigger and M-LOK handguard make it easy to shoot and easy to accessorize.

This California model uses a fin-style grip and a 10-round capacity to meet state featureless requirements, and the threaded muzzle ships with a thread protector. The stock stores two spare magazines behind a quick-release latch, so you can carry 30 rounds total with the gun. Sights are not included; mount your favorite red dot on the full-length Picatinny rail. Pick it up at Brute Dynamics in Thousand Oaks, CA after your DROS is complete.

California Purchase Information

• California compliance: This California model is featureless: it uses a fin-style grip instead of a conventional pistol grip, has no flash suppressor (thread protector only), and is limited to 10-round magazines. The rifle folds at the receiver rather than having a folding stock, so standard M&P 10-round magazines can be used. Altering the configuration (for example, adding a conventional pistol grip, flash suppressor or other restricted features) may create an illegal assault weapon under California law.
• Who can buy: Purchasers must be at least 21 years old (required for semi-automatic centerfire rifles in California), hold a valid California Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) and provide proof of California residency.
• Background check & waiting period: All sales are processed through DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) with a California DOJ background check and a mandatory 10-day waiting period. Pickup must be completed within 30 days of the DROS.
• Pickup / transfer only: Firearms are delivered in person at our Thousand Oaks store, or transferred through a licensed California firearms dealer. We do not ship firearms directly to individuals.
• Magazines: Ships with California-legal magazines limited to 10 rounds. Large-capacity magazines (over 10 rounds) cannot be sold or delivered in California.
• Taxes & fees: California’s 11% firearm and ammunition excise tax, sales tax and state DROS fees apply and are collected at the time of transfer.
• Safety device: A California DOJ-approved firearm safety device (lock) or proof of an approved gun safe is required with every firearm purchase.
