Description
The Heckler & Koch VP9L OR stretches HK's proven VP9 to a 5" barrel and long slide, adding sight radius and a smoother recoil impulse for competition, range work and home defense. Lightening cuts keep the extended slide cycling reliably, and an O-ring barrel bushing gives tighter lockup for better accuracy. The slide is factory cut to accept popular red dot optics with HK mounting plates.
The VP9L carries over the P30-derived trigger with short, light take-up and a positive reset, plus HK's interchangeable backstraps and side panels and ambidextrous controls with a paddle-style magazine release. California Purchase Information
- CA Handgun Roster: California-compliant configuration (roster entry: VP9L OR). We confirm the current roster listing before every sale.
- Who can buy: Purchasers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid California Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC), provide proof of California residency and complete a safe-handling demonstration at pickup.
- Background check & waiting period: All sales are processed through DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) with a California DOJ background check and a mandatory 10-day waiting period. Pickup must be completed within 30 days of the DROS.
- Pickup / transfer only: Firearms are delivered in person at our Thousand Oaks store, or transferred through a licensed California firearms dealer. We do not ship firearms directly to individuals.
- Magazines: Ships with California-legal magazines limited to 10 rounds. Large-capacity magazines (over 10 rounds) cannot be sold or delivered in California.
- Taxes & fees: California’s 11% firearm and ammunition excise tax, sales tax and state DROS fees apply and are collected at the time of transfer.
- Safety device: A California DOJ-approved firearm safety device (lock) or proof of an approved gun safe is required with every firearm purchase.
