Description
The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 SLW pairs a 14.5" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined lightweight barrel with Daniel Defense's extended flash suppressor, which is pinned and welded to bring the barrel past the 16" legal minimum. The result is a handy, short-handling 5.56 NATO carbine that still counts as a standard rifle. A mid-length gas system keeps recoil smooth, and the free-floating 13.5" MFR handguard gives you M-LOK slots and a continuous top Picatinny rail for optics and lights.
Daniel Defense's 6-position buttstock with SoftTouch overmolding and its ergonomic pistol grip round out a rifle that weighs under 6 lbs. This California version is configured with a 10-round fixed magazine, so you reload by opening the action rather than pressing a mag release. Sights are not included, leaving the rail open for your setup. Pick it up at Brute Dynamics in Thousand Oaks, CA after your DROS is complete.

California Purchase Information
- California compliance: Because it has a pistol grip, adjustable stock and flash suppressor, this rifle is made California compliant with a 10-round fixed magazine that can only be removed by opening the action, as required under California's assault weapon laws. The 14.5" barrel has its flash suppressor permanently pinned and welded so the barrel measures over 16". Altering the configuration (for example, removing the fixed-magazine device or adding restricted features) may create an illegal assault weapon under California law.
