Description

The M2-G1 Tactical is Benelli’s newest fighting shotgun, built around its Rear Piston Operated (R.P.O.) system. Gas is collected close to the chamber and drives dual short-stroke pistons, while the recoil system lives in the stock. That combination keeps the action cleaner, makes maintenance simpler and gives a smoother, more controllable shot-to-shot feel than forward-mounted gas designs.

This version pairs an anodized gray receiver with a standard black synthetic stock and a 7+1 magazine tube for real on-board capacity. An enlarged, beveled loading port speeds up reloads, the oversized charging handle and controls are easy to run under stress, and the M-LOK forend takes a light. Ghost ring sights and a Picatinny rail are included for irons or an optic. Order online and pick it up at Brute Dynamics in Thousand Oaks, CA once your DROS clears.

California Purchase Information

  • California compliance: This M2-G1 Tactical is legal to own in California as configured. It has a standard fixed stock (no pistol grip, not folding or telescoping) and a fixed tube magazine (not detachable), so it is not a semi-automatic assault shotgun under California law. Installing a folding or telescoping stock or a detachable magazine may make it illegal.
  • Who can buy: Purchasers must be at least 21 years old (18–20 year olds may qualify only under a state exemption, such as holding a valid California hunting license), hold a valid California Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) and provide proof of California residency.
  • Background check & waiting period: All sales are processed through DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) with a California DOJ background check and a mandatory 10-day waiting period. Pickup must be completed within 30 days of the DROS.
  • Pickup / transfer only: Firearms are delivered in person at our Thousand Oaks store, or transferred through a licensed California firearms dealer. We do not ship firearms directly to individuals.
  • Taxes & fees: California’s 11% firearm and ammunition excise tax, sales tax and state DROS fees apply and are collected at the time of transfer.
  • Safety device: A California DOJ-approved firearm safety device (lock) or proof of an approved gun safe is required with every firearm purchase.

Safe storage: Firearms must be stored securely and kept out of the reach of children and prohibited persons. Under California law, you may be guilty of a crime if a child or prohibited person gains access to a firearm that was not stored safely.
